The Aurora City Services Expo was held on October 4 on the west side of Aurora at the Vaughan Center on west Indian Trail. It certainly was a success if parking was any indicator as there was hardly an opening anywhere. Below you will see random shots of the setups and the people within the Expo. If you didn't get there on Saturday, you don't completely miss it as there will be a repeat on the east side of Aurora at the Eola Community Center between New York and Route 34 on Eola Road.
Don't miss it. It's a grand way to keep informed about your community. I think that every major department was represented plus some outside representation of some state agencies.
Mayor Weisner and two staff members, Sarah Townsend (on the left) and Kari Ulrich (on the right) were at the door to welcome visitors to the Expo.
The Alderman's office was represented to talk with constituents.
Please go to stories 2, 3 and 4 under the "WORTH DRIVING TO" tab to see more pictures.
To make sure downloads to your computer didn't tie anything up we felt it necessary to break up the picture
story of the Expo.
This is really a great way to find out about your city. If you missed it on the west side,
make sure to catch it on the east side next Saturday, October 11 at the Eola Community Center.
I'm Fred Baker, and "That's My View!"
