Bakers Identities Provides Innovations For You

Over the years, Fred Baker and his staff have received awards and plaudits for his/their
innovation and forward thinking from associations, from customers and the general
public. That same innovation which led to the mobile office (shown) has kept Bakers
Identities and Fred in the forefront of the sales promotion/imprinted products industry for 40 years.


Now Baker brings you a mobile office in a motor coach with a conference table,
a 10 foot velcro display (which his company, also, sells), broadband wireless for printers
and computers, an oversized monitor to show presentations to customers and a
mobile-in-motion satellite receiver. The satellite receiver will, also, give him the ability to
send and receive data from that aspect, too, just in case there are no regular broadband
communication towers nearby. He can handle e-mail, faxes, orders and billings right out
of the motorcoach.


With the new Mobile Office, Baker points out that no matter where you are that you
will have the same service - whether you come to visit him at the home office or he calls
on you in his mobile office. "Naturally", he says, "we don't have as complete a showroom
in the Mobile Office as we do at our 315 W Downer Place in Aurora office; but with our
internet presence and presentation equipment, all customers will be able to see every idea
that's available to meet their needs".


Baker says, “We have made this coach completely independent. The coach has its own
generator and heating/air conditioning for whatever the need”. “In addition”, he stated,
“we can serve food and refreshments aboard because there is a convection oven and
refrigeration to meet any need or occasion”.


As stated above, Baker will continue to maintain his regular offices at 315 W Downer
Place in Aurora, also, to allow customers to stop in, relax and go over ideas that are
physically on display in the showroom.


The Mobile Office tour consists of showing the conference room setup - both long view and
close-up view.


The coach has two work station areas in the rear. A short one for presentations (on the
near left of the picture) of actual ideas and products or the full conference table can be
used for computer presentations for, generally, 2 people beside Baker, but the conference
table can seat up to 4 for presentations plus the presenter at the computer in the foreground.








A display covers the galley area and provides space to, also, present specials and catalog
items as customers enter the coach.



The cockpit area of the Mobile Office (shown below is the drivers area).



A passenger/assistant can work while on the road from two different stations - one facing
forward or turning the passenger seat 180 degrees to another work station or printer area.
The coach is equipped to do business while parked or driving down the road through the use
of broadband cards in the computers or sending/receiving data via an in-motion-satellite
receiver.
