Enjoy an evening with the Bobby Lewis Jazz Trio during the WDCB Jazz Salon at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.
With a career spanning four decades on trumpet, Lewis’ masterful, lyrical style has been seen in countless performances and heard in thousands of recordings. He has played with greats like Peggy Lee, formed several ensembles and composed numerous works. At the Nov. 13 performance, Lewis will be joined by piano and bass for a dynamic trio.
General seating for the performance — a joint effort of the PianoForte Foundation, WDCB Public Radio and Mayslake Peabody Estate — is $18 per person with a reduced price of $15 for students, seniors age 65 and older, and groups of seven or more. Premier seating at cabaret-style tables is $25 per person. For tickets, call the PianoForte Foundation at 312-291-0291.
Guided tours of Mayslake Hall will be available before the concert at 6:30 p.m. for $5 per person. The tours explore the history of the estate and the restoration projects that are bringing new life to the hall.
